LG Display Debuts 540Hz TB1000 OLED at Computex

LG Display showcased its 27-inch TB1000 OLED prototype at Computex 2026, featuring a 540 Hz refresh rate and 2,000 nits peak brightness.

At Computex 2026, held from June 2 to June 5, LG Display unveiled the TB1000, a 27-inch OLED monitor panel prototype. The display features a 2,560 x 1,440 resolution and a 540 Hz refresh rate using Tandem-WOLED technology with an RGBW-stripe pixel structure. Designed to meet DisplayHDR True Black 1000 requirements, the panel reaches a peak brightness of 2,000 cd/m² on 1.5 percent of the screen and 560 cd/m² at 100 percent coverage. Other event highlights included the Asus ROG Strix OLED XG259QWPG Ace, which uses a 24.5-inch 540 Hz WOLED panel. LG Display also demonstrated panels with an RGB-stripe layout lacking white subpixels, featured in the Dell Alienware AW3926QW and the Asus ROG Swift OLED PG27UCWM and PG32UCWM models.
