ASRock Industrial and Axelera AI collaborate to integrate Metis AIPU cards into edge platforms, delivering up to 214 TOPS for AI workloads.

On July 21, 2026, ASRock Industrial announced a strategic collaboration with Axelera AI to integrate Metis AIPU cards into its edge AI platforms. The partnership brings Metis M.2 and PCIe AI acceleration cards to ASRock Industrial systems, providing up to 214 TOPS of additional inference performance. The Axelera Metis PCIe card is integrated into the iEPF-11000S, iEPF-10000S, iEPF-9500S, iEPF-9040S, and iEPF-9040VS series, while the M.2 card is featured in the AI BOX-A395 and NUC BOX-358H, 255H, and 155H systems. Led by Chairman James Lee and Axelera CEO Fabrizio Del Maffeo, the solution targets LLM, machine vision, robotics, smart retail, and city environments. ASRock Industrial also offers the AI Pathfinder tool for validated hardware recommendations.
