AMD Advancing AI 2026: Epyc Venice and Helios Debut

AMD kicks off Advancing AI 2026 in San Francisco, unveiling the 256-core Epyc Venice processor and its first rack-scale design, Helios.

AMD Advancing AI 2026 begins July 22 at the Moscone Center West in San Francisco, featuring the premiere of the Epyc Venice processor, new Instinct GPUs, and Helios. Helios marks AMD's first proprietary rack-scale design, integrating new Instinct GPUs with the latest Epyc generation. CEO Lisa Su, who previously showcased the Epyc Venice processor at CES 2026, will deliver a keynote on Thursday at 9:30 AM local time. The Zen 6-based Venice processor features two central I/O dies and 16 CCDs, each containing 16 cores in a 4x4 arrangement for a maximum configuration of 256 cores. AMD invited ComputerBase to the event, covering expenses for economy class flights, hotel accommodations, and meals.
