Yeston and Maxsun Launch RTX 5060 with 16-Pin Power

New GeForce RTX 5060 models from Yeston and Maxsun feature 16-pin power connectors and the GB205 die originally found in the RTX 5070.

Yeston and Maxsun have released new GeForce RTX 5060 GPUs utilizing the GB205 die, a component originally used for the GeForce RTX 5070. These specific models, including the Yeston RTX 5060 Gaea and the Maxsun RTX 5060 i-Craft Cyber Magical Girl edition, feature 16-pin power connectors because the manufacturers retained PCB designs intended for higher-end cards. This contrasts with MSI’s four recently launched GB205-based RTX 5060 GPUs, which utilize standard 8-pin connectors. The RTX 5060 is rated at 145-150W and uses the GB205-200-KA-A1 variant, which disables a memory channel to support an 8 GB GDDR7 configuration via a 128-bit bus. These cards feature four memory chips soldered to one side of the substrate. While the GB206 die for the RTX 5060 debuted in 2025, these new versions repurpose the larger silicon for the mid-range segment.
