Jensen Huang's Tom Ford Jacket Sells for $960,000

A Tom Ford leather jacket worn by Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang sold for $960,000 at a Sotheby's auction to benefit the Edge Institute.

During the weekend of July 18, 2026, a Tom Ford leather jacket previously worn by Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang fetched $960,000 at a Sotheby's auction organized by Long Journey Ventures. The final price significantly exceeded the initial estimate of $40,000 to $60,000, especially considering a new jacket from the Tom Ford SS2023 collection retails for approximately $9,000. Professional Sports Authenticator photomatched the garment to Huang's appearance at the Hon Hai Tech Day in Taipei on October 18, 2023, while James Spence Authentication verified a signature on the piece. Proceeds from the sale are designated for the Edge Institute, a non-profit that creates pop-up villages called Edge Cities. The funds will support fellowships, grants, and residencies for young builders.
