Intel Nova Lake to Launch 52-Core CPUs in 2027

Intel's Nova Lake processors will debut in early 2027, featuring up to 52 cores and a staggered retail rollout through the third quarter.

Intel is set to begin production of its Nova Lake processors in 2026, with technical details expected at a Tech Day late that year. The lineup will debut at CES 2027 on January 6, with retail sales starting at the end of January. Initial models include a 28-core configuration featuring 8P, 16E, and 4LPE cores on a single CPU tile. High-performance versions with dual CPU tiles will offer 52 cores, comprising 16P, 32E, and 4LPE cores, scheduled for release between May and September 2027. Additionally, variants with a large L3 cache are slated for March and April 2027. Computex 2027 will serve as a major milestone for the launch cycle as the rollout continues through the third quarter of the year.
