Lenovo Legion R9000P Debuts Inkjet-Printed OLED

Lenovo's Legion R9000P is the first laptop to feature TCL CSOT's inkjet-printed OLED technology, offering a 240 Hz refresh rate.

TCL CSOT, a subsidiary of TCL, has officially launched its inkjet-printed OLED technology, marking a shift from traditional vacuum thermal evaporation methods. The Lenovo Legion R9000P serves as the debut laptop for this innovation, featuring a 16-inch panel with a 240 Hz refresh rate and over 99% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage. This milestone follows over 10 years of development by TCL CSOT, which remains the sole manufacturer currently utilizing the inkjet printing technique for OLED production. The company began mass-producing 5.5-generation panels in 2024 and recently started construction on an 8.6-generation production line in 2025. Beyond laptops, the technology is also utilized in the MSI Pro Max OLED 271UPJW12 monitor, highlighting the expanding reach of TCL CSOT's specialized manufacturing process.
