Sony Delays FlexStrike Wireless Fight Stick
Sony has indefinitely delayed the FlexStrike Wireless Fight Stick, formerly Project Defiant, citing unexpected production issues.
Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced an indefinite delay for the FlexStrike Wireless Fight Stick, the hardware previously known as Project Defiant. Isabelle Tomatis, VP of Global Marketing at SIE, provided the update on the PlayStation Blog, citing "unexpected production delays" as the primary cause. This announcement comes just one month after the company released official pricing and pre-order details for the device. The FlexStrike, which features low-latency wireless gameplay, adjustable controls, a touchpad, and an included carry case, was initially set to retail for £179.99. Sony is currently sending email updates to customers who pre-ordered the hardware to inform them of the status change. No new release window has been provided for the peripheral.
