AMD Zen 6 Medusa Point 10-Core CPU Leaks on Geekbench

A 10-core AMD Medusa Point SKU has surfaced on Geekbench, showcasing high single-core performance ahead of its expected 2027 release.

A new Geekbench listing for AMD Plum-MDS1, an engineering sample identified as 100-000001713-33_N, reveals early performance data for the Ryzen AI 500 Medusa Point series. Expected to launch in 2027 as part of AMD's Zen 6 refresh, the 10-core chip achieved a single-core score of 3,329 and a multi-core score of 16,555. This single-core result surpasses all current mobile processors except the Snapdragon X2 Elite, while the multi-core performance rivals the Ryzen AI Max+ 390 and significantly exceeds the Ryzen AI 9 365's 12,410 average. The listing specifies a 2.0 GHz base frequency, a 5.37 GHz boost, and a cache configuration featuring 10MB of L2 and 32MB of L3. This 42MB combined cache exceeds the 34MB found in the Ryzen AI 9 465. Medusa Point is positioned to compete directly with Intel's upcoming Panther Lake lineup.
