Framework Adjusts Laptop 13 Pro Pricing

Framework updates Laptop 13 Pro pricing as LPCAMM2 memory costs more than double, impacting Intel Core Ultra Series 3 configurations.

Framework is adjusting pricing for the Framework Laptop 13 Pro following a supplier update that more than doubled the cost of LPCAMM2 memory. CEO Nirav Patel stated that absorbing these increases would pose a financial risk to the company. The price for 32GB LPCAMM2 modules rose from $439 to $800, while 64GB modules increased from $849 to $1,600. Framework will honor original pre-order prices for components that increased in cost and will reduce prices for pre-orders containing components with decreased costs, such as 48GB DDR5 modules and SN850X 8TB SSDs. To manage inventory, certain 64GB pre-orders beyond Batch 4 will be updated to 32GB modules at the original 32GB price, and specific 32GB DIY and Mainboard orders will move to 16GB modules. New orders will also see price hikes due to increased costs for X7 chips, X9 chips, and Windows licenses. The first batch of pre-orders is scheduled to ship in July 2026.
