GIGABYTE Launches B850 AORUS Elite X3D Motherboard

GIGABYTE debuts the AM5-based B850 AORUS Elite X3D, featuring X3D Turbo Mode 2.0 and support for up to 256GB of 8200 MT/s memory.

The GIGABYTE B850 AORUS Elite X3D motherboard is built on the AM5 socket and features a robust 16+2+2 power phase VRM. A key highlight is the X3D Turbo Mode 2.0, which offers Standard, Max Performance, and Extreme Gaming modes to optimize performance. For memory, the board includes four DIMM slots supporting up to 256 GB of capacity and speeds reaching 8200 MT/s. Expansion is handled by dual PCIe x16 slots with Gen 5.0 and Gen 4.0 support. The rear I/O provides dual Type C ports and a 2.5G LAN port, while the board itself includes a debug code display, RGB lighting, and a Q-flash button. While the technical specifications are confirmed, GIGABYTE has not yet disclosed pricing or official availability details for the new motherboard.
