Valve Notifies Steam Machine Lottery Winners
Valve has begun emailing Steam Machine lottery participants ahead of the hardware's official market launch in June 2026.
Valve is notifying participants of the Steam Machine lottery via email following a registration period that started on a Monday and ended on a Thursday at 19:00. Users could enter for four packages, with winners assigned based on availability; those winning multiple lotteries receive the most expensive option. The 512 GB model costs 1,039 Euro (no controller) or 1,108 Euro (with controller), while the 2 TB version is 1,359 Euro or 1,428 Euro with a controller. The 152 x 162.4 x 156 mm machine features an AMD Ryzen Zen 4 CPU (6 cores, 12 threads, 4.8 GHz) and Radeon RDNA 3 GPU (28 CUs, 2.45 GHz) with 16 GB DDR5 RAM and 8 GB GDDR6 VRAM. Unsuccessful participants join a chronological waiting list, with queue notifications beginning June 29, 2026. Once notified, customers have 72 hours to complete the purchase. Valve expects to process the reservation queue through the end of 2026 following the June launch.
