Micron Secures $100B in Strategic Customer Deals

Micron CEO Sanjay Mehrotra announced 16 strategic customer agreements worth $100 billion, securing long-term DRAM and NAND supply through 2030.

Micron Technology has finalized 16 strategic customer agreements, including deals with four very large and three medium-sized clients. These contracts, spanning from calendar 2026 to 2030, represent approximately 20% of Micron's DRAM and 33% of its NAND volume. Fourteen of these agreements carry a cumulative revenue of roughly $100 billion at minimum contract prices, with Micron projecting $22 billion in cash deposits and financial commitments. While automotive long-term agreements are set for three years, the broader strategic deals address anticipated market shifts. CEO Sanjay Mehrotra noted that memory supply is expected to be insufficient in 2027 before industry supply improves gradually in 2028. These commitments aim to stabilize supply chains during the projected period of memory shortages.
