LG OLED Panels Earn Intertek Accuracy Certification

LG Display's large OLED panels achieved 100% color and brightness accuracy certification from Intertek for consistent performance up to 500 lux.

On June 22, 2026, LG Display announced that its entire large-sized OLED panel lineup for TVs and monitors received the Perfect Color/Brightness Accuracy up to 500 lux certification from Intertek. This certification confirms the displays reproduce color and brightness accurately regardless of viewing conditions or content. In tests against LCDs, LG Display's OLED panels achieved 100% color accuracy and 100% brightness accuracy, maintaining consistent reproduction and uniform brightness across various test pattern sizes. The panels also demonstrated color crosstalk-free performance, ensuring no interference between adjacent pixels. This is enabled by pixel dimming technology where individual pixels emit light independently, whereas LCDs rely on larger backlight units and zone-based control.
