Microsoft Adds Xbox Handheld Logo to Store Pages
Microsoft has introduced an "Xbox Handheld" logo to its game store pages, appearing alongside PC and console indicators for major titles.
Microsoft has updated its official game store pages to include a new "Xbox Handheld" logo within the "Ways to play" section. This branding is visible on landing pages for Gears of War: E-Day, Halo: Campaign Evolved, and State of Decay 3, positioned alongside indicators for Xbox Series X|S, PC, Steam, and Xbox Game Pass. On the Gears of War: E-Day page, the logo is paired with promotional text for the Asus ROG Xbox Ally X. This follows Windows 11 updates introducing an "Xbox Mode" for third-party devices, featuring full-screen interfaces, controller-friendly navigation, and quick-toggle gamepad cursors. While these software enhancements improve the handheld experience, Xbox leadership has acknowledged high memory prices and climbing manufacturing costs as ongoing industry challenges.
