Dell XPS 13 Wildcat Lake Model Starts at $699
Dell launches the XPS 13 with Intel Core 3 Wildcat Lake processors, starting at $699 in the US with special discounts for students.
The new entry-level Dell XPS 13 features an Intel Core 3 Wildcat Lake processor, 8 GB of RAM, and a 512 GB SSD. While the US MSRP is set at $699, students can purchase the base model for $599, reflecting a $100 discount. In contrast, Dell's German online shop lists the same configuration for 1,049 euros, which is approximately 882 euros excluding taxes. The student discount in Germany is more significant at 250 euros compared to the US price gap. ComputerBase recently analyzed the device during a hands-on session at Computex 2026. Meanwhile, competition in the entry-level segment is increasing, as Chuwi has announced a notebook featuring an Intel entry-level CPU priced at $449, scheduled for release this July.
