SK hynix to Raise $29B via Nasdaq ADR Listing

SK hynix plans to raise 45.45 trillion won through a Nasdaq listing on July 10 to fund major semiconductor factory and equipment expansions.

SK hynix filed a securities registration statement on June 24, 2026, to list 17.79 million new common shares as American depositary receipts on the Nasdaq Global Select Market. Managed by BofA Securities, Citigroup, Goldman Sachs, and JP Morgan, the offering aims to raise 45.45 trillion won ($29.43 billion) for manufacturing. Proceeds will fund the Y1 fab in the Yongin Semiconductor Cluster, due for completion in February 2027, and the Cheongju P&T7 advanced packaging plant for HBM assembly. Funds also cover a $7.9 billion order for ASML EUV scanners. Holding 57% of the HBM market and 32% of the global DRAM market, SK hynix became South Korea's most valuable company on June 22. Following the disclosure, Korea-listed shares rose 5.5% in after-hours trading.
