Google Unveils Pixel 11 Series with Android 17

Google's Pixel 11 lineup features a thinner camera bar, magnetic charging, and a seven-year guarantee for Android 17 software updates.

Google unveiled the Pixel 11 series earlier than planned, introducing the Pixel 11, Pro, Pro XL, and Pro Fold. The lineup features an all-glass camera bar that is 40 percent thinner than previous designs, utilizing Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and IP68 ratings.

The Pro models debut HiLight, a notification feature formerly called Pixel Glow that pulses during Gemini AI interactions. While the standard Pixel 11 lacks this hardware, all models now start with 256GB of storage and support 25W Qi2.2 Pixelsnap magnetic charging.

The series launches with Android 17, backed by a seven-year guarantee for OS, security, and Pixel Drop updates. With scratch resistance doubled over the Pixel 10, these lithium-ion powered devices represent a significant durability and software support upgrade.
