Qualcomm Unveils Snapdragon C for Entry-Level PCs

The new 6-nm Snapdragon C platform features an eight-core CPU and AI NPU, offering 106% better energy efficiency than the Intel N250.

Qualcomm announced the Snapdragon C entry-level Windows platform at Computex in May 2026. Built on a 6-nm process, the chip features an eight-core Kryo CPU reaching 3.0 GHz on a single core and 2.0 GHz multi-core, paired with a Hexagon NPU for AI workloads.

The platform includes an Adreno A643 GPU and a VPU supporting 4K video. It supports up to 16GB of LPDDR5X memory at 6,400 MT/s, PCIe 3.0 for NVMe SSDs, and Wi-Fi 6E. Connectivity is rounded out by Bluetooth 6.0 and support for dual USB-C and USB-A 3.1 ports.

Benchmarks show the Snapdragon C outperforms the Intel N250 by 50% in Cinebench 2026 single-core tests. Efficiency is a key focus, with Qualcomm claiming the chip is 106% more energy efficient than the N250 during Netflix playback or Edge browser usage.
