NVIDIA RTX 50 series GPU prices have surged by as much as 139 percent, according to a new report from Tom's Hardware tracking the US market. While NVIDIA lists these cards at MSRP, third-party vendors have implemented price hikes between 20 and 40 percent.
The RTX 5060 Ti 16 GB now carries a median price of $804.99, while the RTX 5070 has reached $899.99. The RTX 5060 8 GB is currently 57 percent above its MSRP. Even the cheapest model, which launched at $249, now maintains a median price exceeding $300 today.
These increases represent a significant shift since June 2026, with the RTX 5090 identified as the most affected model. While the RTX 5070 Ti price remained stagnant through August 2026, other models like the RTX 5070 hit 136 percent of their original levels.
