Nanya Technology's Board of Directors approved a NT$346.6 billion investment program for its Fab5A facility. The project focuses on 10nm-class processes from 1b to 1e nodes and introduces EUV lithography. Pilot production for the 1c node has already begun.
The company increased its 2026 capital expenditures by 34% to NT$69.7 billion, with an extra NT$17.7 billion for equipment advance payments. Wafer starts are scheduled for late 2027, targeting 30,000 monthly wafers in 2028 and 35,900 monthly wafers in 2029.
Total investment is expected to reach $16 billion, supporting customers like NVIDIA, Google, and Microsoft. July revenue surged 719.6% year-over-year to NT$43.87 billion, while long-term agreements now cover approximately 50% of Nanya's production capacity.
