Leaker Jaykihn has shared new details regarding Intel's upcoming Nova Lake-S desktop processors. The leak suggests that certain SKUs created by disabling portions of an E-core cluster may still retain the full L3 cache allocation of the original silicon die.
Reported specs include an 8P+16E+4LP-E flagship with 36MB L3 cache and 144MB bLLC. The 8P+12E+4LP-E model also features 36MB L3 cache and 132MB bLLC, while lower-tier 4P+4E+4LP-E and 4P+8E+4LP-E models carry 18MB L3 cache without the additional bLLC cache.
This cache behavior is also expected for Nova Lake-HX mobile chips. While Intel has not confirmed these specifications, the rumored separate bLLC cache on select processors marks a significant architectural shift for the company's future hardware lineup.
