Minisforum MS-03 Edge AI Mini Workstation Debuts

Minisforum expands its workstation lineup with the MS-03 Edge AI Mini, featuring Intel Panther Lake-H processors and 50 TOPS NPU performance.

Minisforum has announced the MS-03 Edge AI Mini, a new addition to its workstation series powered by Intel's Panther Lake-H platform. The device offers configurations with Intel Core Ultra 5 336H, Ultra 7 356H, or Ultra 9 386H processors, with the flagship Ultra 9 model featuring 16 cores and boost speeds up to 4.9 GHz. Designed for high-performance tasks, the MS-03 includes an integrated NPU providing up to 50 TOPS and supports up to 128 GB of DDR5-7200 RAM across two SO-DIMM slots. Storage and expansion options are robust, featuring three M.2-2280 PCIe 5.0 x4 slots, one of which supports U.2 enterprise SSDs via an adapter, and an internal PCIe 5.0 x16 slot operating at x8 speeds. Connectivity includes dual 10 Gbit/s SFP+ ports, one 10 Gbit/s RJ45 port, one 2.5 Gbit/s RJ45 port, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 6, and HDMI 2.1. Measuring 195 x 195 x 42.5 mm and weighing approximately 1.42 kg, the unit features a tool-free slide-out housing. Selected models support Intel vPro, though pricing and availability remain unannounced.
