AMD Radeon RX 9070 GRE Hits $499 via Newegg Deal

The GIGABYTE Gaming RX 9070 GRE 12 GB is now available for $499 on Newegg, marking a $50 drop from its $549 worldwide launch price.

The GIGABYTE Gaming RX 9070 GRE 12 GB is currently listed on Newegg for $549, but a $50 discount code reduces the final price to $499. Based on the RDNA 4 architecture, this GPU features 12 GB of VRAM, which is 4 GB less than the standard RX 9070 model. While the Radeon RX 9070 GRE launched in China in 2025 and saw a global release at $549, it faced a difficult start in some markets, failing to sell any units on its first day at the German retailer Mindfactory. At its new $499 price point, the card competes against the RTX 5060 Ti 16 GB, which sells for over $500. Meanwhile, both the standard RX 9070 and the rival RTX 5070 remain priced above the $600 mark.
