Walmart Drops AMD Ryzen 9 7900X Price to $275

Walmart is offering the AMD Ryzen 9 7900X for $274.99, marking a $123.05 discount on the 12-core Zen 4 processor for the AM5 platform.

Walmart's $274.99 price for the AMD Ryzen 9 7900X undercuts the $359 price on the AMD webstore and Amazon's $315.99 listing, which includes a $6.02 coupon. This Zen 4 processor features 12 cores, 24 threads, a 4.7GHz base clock, and a 5.6GHz boost clock. It includes 12MB of L2 cache and 64MB of L3 cache, requiring the AM5 socket and DDR5 memory. While Woot sold the chip for $219.99 in March, Walmart's current deal is advertised as a $123.05 discount. For comparison, Amazon is selling the Zen 5-based Ryzen 9 9900X for $328.99. The 9900X also uses the AM5 socket with 12 cores and 24 threads, but features a 4.4GHz base clock, a 5.6GHz maximum boost clock, and 76MB of total L2 and L3 cache.
