The mVolt+ v0.36 software tool has launched, enabling extreme overclocking for NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50-series GPUs. Users can now push the flagship RTX 5090 to a 700W power draw, significantly exceeding its default 575W TDP, as reported by Reddit user u/SyncFail_.
The utility exposes low-level controls for Core and Memory channel power limits, GPU clock ranges, and voltage-demand offsets for Core, XBAR, SYS, and Video domains. It also allows the RTX 5080 to reach 680W, far surpassing the ASUS ROG Astral's 450W TGP limit.
These internal power constraints, including the Core Power Limit, allow for massive performance gains. One user achieved 3.2 GHz on an RTX 5090 with a 2.8 GHz XBAR clock, while an RTX 5060 Ti gained 20W, demonstrating the tool's impact across the Blackwell line.
