HP has launched the OmniBook 3 (14-hz0488nr), a 14-inch laptop now available at Amazon and Best Buy. The base model features a Snapdragon X X1-26-100 chip with eight Oryon CPU cores, 8 GB of RAM, 256 GB of storage, and a 1920 x 1200 OLED display panel.
The device includes a 45 TOPS NPU, 30 MB of cache, and a 60 Wh battery rated for up to 41 hours and 45 minutes. Connectivity options consist of two USB-A ports, two 10 Gbps USB-C ports, HDMI 2.1, and Wi-Fi 6E. It also features a 1080p webcam with a privacy shutter.
Pricing for the OmniBook 3 starts at $599.99 on Amazon, though Best Buy offers a discounted price of $499.99. This compares to the $749.99 MSRP on HP's store and the $699 MacBook Neo, which utilizes an A18 Pro chip and a 500-nit IPS display instead of OLED.
