AMD Confirms Radeon RX 9050 RDNA 4 Specifications

AMD's new entry-level Radeon RX 9050 features the Navi 44 architecture with 4GB and 8GB GDDR6 memory options for budget-focused gamers.

AMD has officially confirmed the technical specifications for the Radeon RX 9050, a new entry-level graphics card based on the RDNA 4 architecture. Utilizing the Navi 44 platform, this GPU will be available in both 4GB and 8GB GDDR6 memory configurations.

The 4GB Radeon RX 9050 features 1,024 stream processors and 16 compute units. It operates on a 64-bit memory bus providing 144GB/s of bandwidth, while the 8GB model doubles these specs with a 128-bit interface and 288GB/s of total memory bandwidth.

This release marks a shift in the budget segment, as the 4GB variant also includes an Infinity Cache that is half the size of the 8GB version. Official support for the Radeon RX 9050 series is now available through the Adrenalin Edition 26.8.1 driver.
