Samsung Display is reportedly developing a new 24.5-inch QD-OLED panel designed for the competitive gaming market. According to a report from ITHome, this upcoming display will feature a 1920x1080 resolution and an industry-leading 750Hz refresh rate.
The panel targets professional esports by offering a 1.33ms refresh interval. While Full HD resolution reduces GPU load, the QD-OLED technology provides superior contrast and viewing angles compared to traditional TN or oxide-LCD panels used in gaming.
Production and customer availability are tentatively scheduled for 2027, though no commercial monitor has been announced. Potential buyers must consider typical QD-OLED factors, including burn-in risks and full-screen brightness levels for this display.
