Leaked unboxing videos for Valve's Steam Frame VR headset have surfaced within the company's Arm-based client. The Steam Hardware Updates account preserved eight files detailing the hardware, which has already received FCC certification for U.S. shipping.
The Steam Frame box includes the headgear, two controllers, a glasses spacer, a USB-C cable, and a wireless adapter for streaming from PCs or Steam Machines. Instructions indicate users must power the headset before activating the included wireless controllers.
While Valve has verified a batch of VR games for the device, official pricing and launch timing remain unannounced. Similar backend leaks occurred two weeks before the Steam Controller launch, suggesting a potential release for the new headset is imminent.
