Overclocker Cmaker has set a new world record in the 3DMark Port Royal benchmark, achieving a massive score of 51,663 marks. The feat was accomplished using an MSI RTX 5090 32G Lightning Z graphics card, which retails for over $5,000, cooled by liquid nitrogen.
The record-breaking rig featured an Intel Core i9 14900KF CPU with water cooling and 32 GB of Corsair Vengeance DDR5 memory also chilled by liquid nitrogen. Cmaker utilized a custom-milled cooling block to push the GPU to a peak clock speed of 3,623 MHz.
This performance represents a significant jump over standard hardware, as the card's default max clock is 2,775 MHz. The score far exceeds the 36,389 marks of an RTX 5090 FE and the 38,715 marks seen on the MSI Suprim SOC, powered by a 1,500 W Corsair unit.
