Qualcomm has updated its benchmark slides for the Snapdragon C chip nearly a week after their initial release. The company requested that Tom's Hardware replace a power efficiency slide with a new version that removes results for idle apps and web browsing.
The updated slide, which compares the eight-core Snapdragon C to Intel's quad-core N250, retains identical data for the remaining tests. Qualcomm stated the removal of the two ABL-labeled results was intended to improve the overall clarity and relevance.
This comparison utilized a 16-inch reference device against an 11.6-inch Acer TravelMate running on battery power. While targeting $300 laptops, the provided benchmarks lack concrete units, though Qualcomm claims the Intel machine matched 16-inch power draws.
