CPUID has officially released CPU-Z version 3.01, marking the first stable entry in the new CPU-Z 3.0 family. This update introduces CPU-Z Validation V3, a major overhaul of the utility's verification system designed to streamline hardware reporting tools.
The new Validation V3 system covers over 100 detection points and delivers results in under 10 seconds. It identifies hardware issues, bloatware, and outdated drivers, while also monitoring for overheating components such as solid-state drives and CPUs.
For overclockers, XOC Mode now calculates effective and input frequencies, using the lower value for validation. Future updates will add an advanced validation feature with dedicated error-detection engines for the processor, memory, and graphics card.
