Affected players are advised to roll back to Adrenalin 26.7.1 as a temporary workaround. Notably, global Apex Legends channels have not yet posted a notice, and the current 26.8.1 release notes do not list the game as a known issue for the new hardware.
This stability concern follows a similar recommendation in AMD's release notes, which suggest version 26.7.1 to resolve Starfield crashes on RX 9000 series GPUs. The investigation continues as users wait for a formal patch to address these driver conflicts.
