AMD Zen 6 Ryzen 10000 CPUs Tipped for CES 2026

AMD is reportedly preparing to unveil its Zen 6 platform and Ryzen 10000 series processors at CES 2026. The new architecture is tipped to include per-core optimizations for thermal and power budgets, building on the Collaborative Processor Performance Control (CPPC) feature used since the Ryzen 3000 series. Key innovations include FloorPerf, a dynamic power delivery system that sets minimum clock speeds to prevent performance drops during thermal throttling by prioritizing foreground tasks. Additionally, the HighestFreq feature will provide the OS with granular data to identify cores capable of the highest sustained boosts. Zen 6 may also introduce a per-core Energy Performance Preference (EPP) boost to minimize ramp-up delays, alongside PQOS Global Bandwidth Enforcement and an updated IBS Memory Profiler to manage RAM and L3 cache allocation for background tasks.
