Razer Acquires StreamElements Assets
Razer has acquired the assets of cloud-based streaming platform StreamElements from Live Momentum Ltd to bolster its creator ecosystem.
Razer announced the acquisition of StreamElements assets from Live Momentum Ltd on July 31, 2026. As the new owner and operator, Razer gains access to intellectual property, platform data, and business records for the cloud-based service, which offers tools like custom overlays, chatbots, and sponsorship management. This acquisition aligns with Razer's 2024 Content Creator Program refresh. CEO Min-Liang Tan intends to integrate the platform with Razer Chroma RGB, Razer Gold and Silver, and Razer ID. While Live Momentum Ltd retains responsibility for pre-closing liabilities, a portion of the purchase price is dedicated to outstanding creator payments, which the former holding company has started distributing. StreamElements CEO Or Perry and Razer aim to leverage these tools to support the global streaming community.
