Valve Updates Steam Machine with FSR 4.1 and CAD Files

Valve adds AMD FSR 4.1 support to Steam Machine via Proton Experimental and releases CAD files for custom accessories and enclosures.

Valve has introduced AMD FSR 4.1 support for the Steam Machine through the Proton Experimental preview branch, enabling the feature for supported games. Alongside this update, the company released official CAD files containing the system's exterior 3D dimensions, allowing users to design compatible stands, mounts, skins, and enclosures. Regarding hardware availability, Valve is now sending daily purchase invitations to reservation holders. Customers have a 72-hour window to complete their order once an invitation is received; otherwise, the opportunity passes to the next person in the queue. Valve confirmed that all current reservation holders will have the chance to purchase a Steam Machine before the end of 2026.
