ASRock Unveils Radeon RX 9050 Challenger GPU

ASRock announces the Radeon RX 9050 Challenger, an RDNA 4 graphics card featuring 8GB memory for Asia-Pacific and Latin American markets.

The ASRock Radeon RX 9050 Challenger is built on the RDNA 4 architecture using the Navi 44 GPU chip. Manufactured on the TSMC N4P process, the chip contains 29.7 billion transistors within a 199 mm² die. The card features 16 Compute Units, 1,024 ALUs, 16 third-generation RT cores, and 64 texture units. It operates with a boost clock speed of 2,600 MHz and includes 8 GB of graphics memory on a 128-bit interface. With a memory speed of 18 Gbps, it delivers 288 GB/s of bandwidth and requires a single 8-pin power connector. While the RX 9050 is available in the Asia-Pacific and Latin American regions, it will not be released in Europe or the USA. Other regional models include the RX 9060, exclusive to Asia, and the RX 9070 GRE, available in China.
