NVIDIA has officially notified its board partners of a price increase for memory kits, a move already impacting the retail market. In China, the GIGABYTE RTX 5060 Eagle OC SFF 8 GB is now selling for 3,215 Yuan, or approximately $475, marking a $75 increase in just a few days. This current pricing represents a 16% jump compared to one week ago. Broadly, RTX 50 series GPUs are now priced 20-30% higher than during the pre-RAMpocalypse period. While the RTX 5060 currently sells for approximately $350 in the United States, global supply chain pressures are evident elsewhere, such as with the Framework Laptop 13 Pro, where memory prices have nearly doubled. These adjustments follow NVIDIA's internal price hike announcement as manufacturers pass on the increased costs of memory components to consumers across various hardware segments.
