Samsung Unveils Galaxy Watch 9 and Ultra 2
Samsung debuts the Galaxy Watch 9 and Ultra 2 in London, featuring the 3nm Snapdragon Wear Elite chip and advanced BioActive sensors.
Samsung announced the Galaxy Watch 9 and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 at the Galaxy Unpacked event in London. Both wearables utilize the 3nm Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear Elite processor, combining one Cortex-A78 core with four Cortex-A55 cores and 2 GB of LPDDR5 RAM. The Galaxy Watch 9 comes in 40mm and 44mm sizes with 32 GB of storage, while the 47mm Ultra 2 offers 64 GB. The Ultra 2 features a 5,000 cd/m² display, 800 mAh battery, and 10 ATM/IP69K rating, including a Mares diving app and Trail function. The Watch 9 reaches 3,000 cd/m² with up to a 445 mAh battery and 5 ATM/IP68 rating. Both run Wear OS 7.0 and One UI 9.0 Watch, supporting Dual-GPS and BioActive sensors for sleep apnea and heart health. Prices start at 409 Euro for the Watch 9 and 749 Euro for the Ultra 2.
