CoreWeave Secures Nvidia A100 Contract to 2029

CoreWeave reports $2.58 billion in Q2 revenue and a $104 billion backlog while securing Nvidia GPU capacity through the end of 2029.

CoreWeave CEO Mike Intrator announced during a second-quarter earnings call that the company has secured a contract for Nvidia A100 GPUs extending through 2029. The firm reported $2.58 billion in quarterly revenue, marking a 112% year-over-year increase.

The provider holds a $104 billion revenue backlog, excluding $25 billion in new bookings since July. Intrator noted that pricing for older SKUs remains at or above levels from years ago, while Nvidia CFO Colette Kress confirmed A100s still run at full capacity.

CoreWeave's contracted power reached 4.2 GW as of Monday, with 1.5 GW currently online. While older A100 systems draw 6.5kW, new liquid-cooled GB200 and GB300 racks require up to 140kW, highlighting the massive infrastructure demands for modern AI workloads.
