Enterprise SSD Revenue to Surge 103.6% in 2Q26

Top five enterprise SSD brands expect $37.59 billion in revenue as Samsung and SK hynix lead a shift toward higher density technologies.

TrendForce reports that the top five enterprise SSD brands are projected to reach $37.59 billion in combined revenue for 2Q26, a 103.6% quarter-over-quarter increase. Suppliers are broadening product lines as demand remains elevated through the third quarter.

Samsung led the market with $14.35 billion in revenue, driven by 176-layer QLC shipments. SK hynix and subsidiary Solidigm followed with $8.63 billion, while Micron ranked third with $6.98 billion. Kioxia and Sandisk rounded out the top five performers.

This surge reflects rapid technological scaling, including SK hynix's 321-layer TLC and Kioxia's 218-layer products. With Micron developing PCIe 6.0 solutions, the industry is shifting toward higher density and faster interfaces to meet enterprise needs.
