ASUS and MSI have reportedly sold out of their initial shipments of laptops featuring the new NVIDIA RTX Spark chipset. During a recent earnings call, ASUS confirmed that channel partners pre-ordered all available units, while MSI reported high demand.
The RTX Spark utilizes a Blackwell GPU and a unified memory architecture supporting up to 128GB of LPDDR5X RAM. NVIDIA claims the hardware can run AI models with 120 billion parameters and achieve 100FPS in AAA titles at 1440p using DLSS and Frame Generation.
Both manufacturers are now placing fresh orders for RTX Spark chipsets to meet global demand. This launch coincides with a new Windows 11 feature that allows users to manually allocate RAM to the GPU, further enhancing the utility of the unified memory system.
