G.SKILL has officially announced the Flare X5X series of DDR5 desktop memory, specifically designed for compatible AMD systems. The initial release features a 32 GB dual-channel kit consisting of two 16 GB modules rated at DDR5-6000 with CL36-36-36-76 timings.
These modules support AMD EXPO Technology Featuring Ultra Low Latency (EXPO ULL), which includes tuned subtimings to reduce effective memory latency. The Flare X5X features a minimalist heat spreader without RGB lighting and boots at SPD speeds by default.
While G.SKILL has not yet disclosed pricing or an exact retail date, the series will launch internationally in phases. Utilizing EXPO ULL requires a compatible AMD processor and motherboard, though specific voltages and module heights remain unconfirmed.
