GMKtec Teases Evo-X5 Pro Mini PC With Ryzen AI Max+

The GMKtec Evo-X5 Pro featuring AMD's 16-core Gorgon Halo APU is set to debut at IFA Berlin on September 5, 2026.

GMKtec has officially teased the Evo-X5 Pro, a new mini PC powered by the AMD Gorgon Halo Ryzen AI Max+ Pro 495. This upcoming hardware serves as an update to the Strix Halo Ryzen AI Max+ 395 and has also been teased by the laptop manufacturer Framework.

The Ryzen AI Max+ Pro 495 features 16 Zen 5 cores and 32 threads, integrated with the AMD Radeon 8065S iGPU. While the Evo-X5 Pro details are emerging, the previous Evo-X3 model utilized an aluminum chassis and a triple-fan cooling system rated for 140W TDP.

Consumers can expect the Evo-X5 Pro to debut at IFA Berlin 2026, with a launch date set for September 5. This release marks a significant step for high-performance mini PCs, bringing AMD's latest Gorgon Halo APU architecture to the compact desktop market.
