AOC Unveils Agon Optimus Ultra 5K Mini-LED Monitor

AOC's new 27-inch Agon Optimus Ultra AGP277KXM features a 5K resolution, 180 Hz refresh rate, and 2,304 mini-LED local dimming zones.

AOC has officially unveiled the Agon Optimus Ultra AGP277KXM, a high-end 27-inch gaming monitor currently listed on its Chinese website. This new display features a Fast IPS mini-LED panel boasting a 5K resolution of 5120 x 2880 and a pixel density of 218 ppi.

The monitor offers a 180 Hz refresh rate at 5K, which can increase to 360 Hz at QHD resolution. It utilizes 2,304 dimming zones, reaching 1,600 nits peak brightness. Color accuracy is a priority, with 98% DCI-P3 coverage and Delta E values measured below 1.

Designed for versatility, the stand supports 150 mm height adjustment, 90-degree pivot, and 20-degree swivel. While the AGP277KXM is live on AOC's regional site, it has not yet appeared on the global market, leaving international availability currently unknown.
