Piston V Ryzen AI 9 365 Mini-PC Hits Crowdfunding

The Piston V gaming mini-PC launches on crowdfunding with a Ryzen AI 9 365 chip and a 4-inch touchscreen starting at $589.

The Piston V gaming mini-PC, featuring the Ryzen AI 9 365 processor, has officially entered its crowdfunding campaign. While the initial $559 tier sold out quickly, the current Early Bird price is $589, significantly lower than the $799 stated MSRP.

The $589 configuration includes 16GB of DDR5-5600 RAM and a 500GB PCIe 4.0 SSD. The device features a 4-inch circular touchscreen, Radeon 880M graphics, and dual 2.5GbE networking. It supports both Windows and a SteamOS-style Linux gaming environment.

With a completed PCB layout and January 2027 estimated delivery, the Piston V offers high-end specs like Wi-Fi 7 and replaceable SO-DIMM memory. OCuLink remains a stretch goal, positioning this unit as a versatile alternative to larger gaming machines.
