Samsung Unveils 2027 Odyssey Gaming Monitor Lineup

Samsung debuts its latest Odyssey OLED and Fast IPS monitors at Gamescom, featuring the flagship G9 with a 720 Hz Dual Mode refresh rate.

Samsung unveiled its 2027 Odyssey gaming monitor lineup at Gamescom 2026, featuring the OLED G9, OLED G8, OLED G7, and the Fast IPS-based G6. The flagship 49-inch OLED G9 utilizes a QD-OLED panel with Penta Tandem technology and an RGB Stripe subpixel layout.

The OLED G9 offers a 5120 x 1440 resolution at 360 Hz, reaching 720 Hz in Dual Mode. The 32-inch OLED G8 supports 4K at 360 Hz and includes DisplayPort 2.1. The 42-inch OLED G7 features a 1000R curve, while the G6 G60H hits a 1,100 Hz refresh rate in HD mode.

These monitors deliver high-end specs like 1,300 nits peak brightness on the G9 and 98W Power Delivery on the G8. While pricing remains unannounced, the Odyssey G6 G60H is scheduled for global availability in the second half of 2026 for competitive gamers.
