Sony Launches $350 PlayStation Gaming Monitor

Sony's new 27-inch 1440p monitor features a 240Hz refresh rate and a built-in DualSense charging hook for US and Japan markets.

Sony is launching a new 27-inch PlayStation Gaming Monitor in the United States and Japan, priced at $349.99 and ¥49,980 respectively. The hardware features a 2560x1440 IPS display and is designed for players who prefer a desk setup over a living-room TV.

The monitor supports variable refresh rates via HDMI VRR and AMD FreeSync Premium. It reaches 120Hz on PS5 and PS5 Pro consoles, while compatible PC or Mac systems can hit 240Hz. A unique folding hook is also included to charge a DualSense controller directly.

This release targets competitive gamers seeking high-performance specs in a compact form factor. While the monitor is now available in two major markets, Sony has not yet confirmed a European release, leaving international availability currently uncertain.
