AMD Launches $3,999 Ryzen AI Halo Mini PC
AMD's Ryzen AI Halo Developer Platform mini PC is now available for pre-order at Micro Center, featuring the Ryzen AI Max+ 395 CPU.
Announced in May 2026, the Ryzen AI Halo Developer Platform mini PC is powered by the Strix Halo platform and the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 CPU. This compact device, measuring 149 x 149 x 43.18 mm with a mostly aluminum chassis, includes a Radeon 8060S iGPU and 128 GB of shared LPDDR5x-8000 memory. Priced at $3,999, it offers 2 TB of SSD storage and a 120 W PSU. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, a 10 Gbps Ethernet port, and HDMI 2.1. It features three USB Type-C ports, one supporting DisplayPort Alt Mode, plus a dedicated Type-C power input. Two identical hardware SKUs are available, shipping with either Linux or Windows 11 Pro. While pre-orders are open at Micro Center in the United States, a specific shipment date has not been confirmed.
